Giki's mission is to help organisations act on their environmental and social commitments. We want everyone to be able to use our services and strive to ensure that our content meets accessibility standards.
We've created our website with the following aims:
- The text should be clear and simple to understand. You should be able to zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen.
- You should be able to navigate most of the site using just a keyboard.
- You should be able to navigate most of the site using speech recognition software.
- You should be able to listen to most of the site using a screen reader (including the most recent version of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver).
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.
Non-accessible content
We are aware of the following issues and are working to address them:
- Some images may not have suitable alternative text.
- Some links and buttons may not be understandable out of context.
- Some secondary headings may not have high enough contrast.
- Some modals may not announce properly on screen readers.
- Some links require clearer focus styling.
Disproportionate burden
Some downloadable reports are normally provided as PDFs. While we work to make these accessible, some charts and contextual information rely on visual cues. Making every report fully accessible would be a disproportionate burden, but we can provide a written summary with formatting and styling removed that outlines the data on request.
Feedback
We welcome your feedback on this statement and on our accessibility. Please email us at hello@gikiactions.com with any thoughts or questions.
